Volunteers are needed to provide Direct Care and Indirect / Administrative duties for Hospice.
There are endless possibilities as to how you can volunteer and brighten someone's day. We would
love for you to come join our team as a Hospice Volunteer and help provide quality of life when the
quantity of life is limited. Oar patient's love to play games, listen to music, participate in activities,
or just simply sit and chit chat with others. They have wonderful stories to tell and sometimes they
have no one to tell them to.

Description

Amedisys Hospice is a community based hospice care agency licensed by the State of Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) and Medicare (CMS) and Accredited by Community Health Accreditation Program.
Our goals are is to foster genuine personal connections that offer emotional, psychological and spiritual support by taking an active role in the interests that bring joy to our patients. This strong support system also extends to the patients families, providing them resources and support throughout this journey. The families we work with rate our care highly. 85% if the families said they would recommend hospice services to others and 84% rated overall patient care as "excellent" or "good."
