Description

weCompost2 has been teaching the community how to compost at Hart's Worm Farm since 2015. We have a friendly, knowledgeable, generous, and fun group of volunteers. We can train you to hot compost and to manage a large-scale vermicompost facility.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18
  • We are looking for an individual who can dedicate one 3-hour shift per week, preferably on a regular day and time.
  • The volunteer will need to bring water, work clothes, closed toed shoes, and a hat. This volunteer position involves shoveling, lifting 40 pounds, using a pitchfork, and getting dirty. We will teach you proper lifting technique, which strengthens you
