Corning Museum of Glass is always interested in new volunteers. We are always interested in new volunteers. What is really lovely about volunteering at the Corning Museum of Glass, is that we offer a variety of volunteering opportunities -- many of which can be tailored to fit individual skills and schedules.
Volunteer Onboarding Process:
After those three steps are completed and the volunteer has passed a background check, volunteers will be eligible for all volunteer opportunities.

CVAC is a program of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chemung County.
CVAC provides education and opportunities for people of all ages to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. CVAC volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through schools, hospitals, food pantries, and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. Our staff members work with agencies and organizations to offer individuals maximum flexibility and choice.
With CVAC you can either enroll as a Cornell Cooperative Extension volunteer to work directly with our programs, or sign you up as an affiliated volunteer and work with any number of partner agencies. In both cases, we match your interests to those of agencies needing your skills and talents.
