Volunteers are needed to help the Ring the Bell this Holiday Season. Ringing bells for The Salvation Army is a great way to support a local non-profit organization that reaches thousands of residents each year through sheltering, feeding and case managed care. All funds raised in Manatee County kettles STAY right here in Manatee County.
You can ring the bell at all local Publix, Walmart, Detwilers, Sam's Club, Winn -Dixie and Hobby Lobby throughout Manatee County. Bell ringing begins on Saturday, November 25th and ends Saturday, December 23rd. (Monday - Saturdays).
Volunteers can select a morning shift of 10 - 2:30pm or afternoon shift of 2:30 - 7:00pm or can choose to ring the entire day.
This is a fun activity that you can do as a family, church group or with friends.

Description
The Salvation Army has been serving Manatee County since 1923. While the needs of the community have changed in the last century, our mission has not. If you were to ask about us, the answer would be we are "Doing the Most Good." This may mean our free evening meal program, our emergency overnight shelters, our case management and social service programs or one of our Christmas assistance programs, Angel Tree or Adopt-A-Family. In addition, The Salvation Army is a church and we hold worship services every week, plus other faith-based and character building programs for adults and youths.

REQUIREMENTS
- Volunteers can choose to ring the entire day 10- 7 pm, or choose the morning shift 10 - 2:30pm or afternoon shift of 2:30 - 7:00 pm. Shifts can also be flexible.
- Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
