Want to make a difference in your community? Become a Home Delivery Call Center volunteer and help ensure that the more than 1 million hungry Hoosiers have food on their table and go to bed healthy and happy.

Home Delivery Call Center volunteers will answer calls and return voicemails from neighbors interested in receiving a delivery of food.

Volunteer duties include:

  • Answering calls and returning voicemails
  • Screening neighbors to ensure they quality and assisting with finding alternate sources of food and other needs
  • Scheduling food deliveries

No experience required - volunteers will receive a 1-hour training session prior to their first volunteer shift.

Volunteers are needed to commit to at least 2 shifts per month.

Volunteers are needed for the following days and times:
Tuesdays, 9-11 am
Thursdays, 9-11 am or 1-3 pm

Preferred Traits

Can work independently
Strong communication skills
Friendly demeanor
Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment

Position Requirements

  • Ability to multitask - typing into Excel and Google Spreadsheets while on the phone
  • Must be comfortable using technology - phone, Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheets
  • This position is fully seated
  • Ages 18+.
