Assistant Producer/Marketing Intern:

Calling all creative humanitarians! We are a local nonprofit in Fort Lauderdale, looking for someone who has a passion for storytelling, and a knack for social media. In this role, you’d work alongside our Executive Producer in curating our online presence and voice. Your days may range from filming on set, building out our social media content calendar, strategizing new content concepts, reviewing scripts, etc! With help from our Marketing consultant, you will be responsible for representing the Nonprofits voice, look, and personality across all social media channels. This is also a position with room for growth.

Description

• Maintain social media calendar and publish content across all channels (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, TikTok, Twitter)
• Work directly with our Production team to assist with content ideation, development for all social media channels including photography/video.
• Notice current social trends and create organic content relevant to the Nonprofit.
• Lead community management across all social platforms, engaging with the audience, resharing relevant content, and creating organic content about the Nonprofit.
• Assist with on set production and script development (if interested in production- you will have access to our production teams gear to learn/grow in any of those directions as well.)
• Analyze and track key performance metrics to understand effectiveness of strategy and creativity.
• Assist our Marketing Consultant to implement long term social media growth and follower acquisition strategies.

Profile

• 2-4 years of social media experience (fluent on all platforms; Facebook, Instagram, tiktok, Linkedin, Twitter).
• Experienced or interested in storytelling and content creation.
• Excellent, on-brand writing and customer service skills.
• Confident in executing tasks and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Proven success working in fast-paced, collaborative team environments

Bonus skills/traits

• Comfortable using DSLR cameras
• Experience with Nonprofits
• Experience with Airtable and SupporterHub or other CRM’s
• Experience in Adobe Lightroom, Premiere, or Photoshop
• Desire to uplift the women in the community around them!
