Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yellowstone County is seeking volunteers to serve on the committee for our food and brews festival in May. This event raises about a portion of our operating budget each year, helping to support our youth to reach their BIGGEST potential. We are looking for various volunteers to join the 2023 committee to help us gain momentum for this exciting event! We need energetic, spirited, and motivated individuals to work on the planning committee to have a highly successful event!

Areas of Interest:

SPONSORSHIP

• Develop plans for solicitation of individual, corporate, and in-kind sponsors for the event

• Ensure proper recognition of all sponsors before, during, and after the event

• Coordinate this effort with BBBSYC staff and board members

• Write thank you notes to all sponsors following the event

AUCTION & ACTIVITIES

• Establish fundraising goal for the silent auction, as well as other activities to help raise funds

• Solicit the best and most sought-after auction items

• Collaborate with BBBSYC staff for event support (set up, check out)

• Arrange for pick-up or delivery of all auction items

• Write thank you notes to all auction item donors

VIBE & AMBIENCE

• Create an experience for attendees from invitation to thank you

• Coordinate decor based on our theme

• Collaborate with BBBSYC staff to secure restaurants, distilleries, wineries, etc. for the event

• Collaborate with BBBSYC staff to secure entertainment, photo booth, and other crews

VOLUNTEERS

• Coordinate with BBBSYC staff to recruit and energize event volunteers

• Collaborate with all committee members to identify and meet volunteer needs

• Collaborate with BBBSYC staff to organize and delegate event tasks
