Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer with the Home Friends Program.
Attention: Tagalog Speakers!
HomeFriends volunteers are matched with an older adult living in Mercer County, New Jersey. Home Friends provide weekly visits which typically include conversation, walks, assistance with routine tasks, or sharing a mutual hobby. The friends can do whatever activities they both enjoy.
The minimum time commitment is one hour a week. Visitation may be longer and more frequent as agreed upon by the volunteer and recipient. Many older adults prefer to have visitors on weekdays between 11am-4pm, so please consider your schedule.
Many meaningful and lasting friendships have developed between HomeFriends over the years.
