The Community Outreach Subcommittee is tasked with raising awareness of The Longest Day and
Alzheimer’s disease by engaging with community members. The subcommittee is responsible for:
Building public awareness of The Longest Day through local media outlets and social media.
Delivering promotional materials to local businesses and community hubs.
Finding creative grassroots marketing opportunities.
The Community Outreach Chair and Community Outreach Subcommittee should have a strong
knowledge of local media outlets, excellent oral and written communication and a creative approach to
marketing.

Description
The Alzheimer's Association Oklahoma Chapter supports all 77 counties in Oklahoma. All programs and services offered are FREE for Alzheimer's patients, their caregivers and families. Programs and services include support groups, education and trainings for caregivers and professionals, care consultations, 24/7 support helpline (800.272.3900), and referrals to other helpful aging services. Join the fight to help us raise funds so that we may continue to support our Oklahoma community and find the first survivor.
