Our Opportunity:
We need YOUR help capturing some of our events at the Gateway Arch. Volunteer photographers and videographers have the opportunity to take photos during events throughout the year.
Volunteers must provide their own camera and equipment. Individuals also give Gateway Arch Park Foundation an unlimited license to use content for promotional and business-related materials. This includes web, e-mail, print, advertising, and social media. Photographers have the right to use the photos for portfolio and personal promotional use.
Reports to Alex Bakken, Manager of Communications and Marketing
Roles and Responsibilities:
Volunteers must be 18 or older. As representatives of The National Park Service and Gateway Arch Park Foundation, volunteers must adhere to the policies, procedures, and code of conduct as outlined in the volunteer handbook provided prior to or during training.
Required Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
- Photography and/or Videographer experience preferred
- Ability to follow direction
- Enthusiasm, friendliness, and a positive attitude
- Respect for confidentiality of the Gateway Arch Park Foundation’s volunteers, partners, members, and donors
- Willingness to take initiative and voice ideas
Commitment (Sign up for whichever works best for you):
- Riverfront Clean-Up - Saturday, April 5, 9 a.m. - noon
- Arch Bark - Saturday, April 12, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Picnic in Your Park - Sunday, June 8, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Blues at the Arch- August 8-9, time is flexible
- National Public Lands Day- September 27, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Winterfest- Date & Time to be determined
Location:
Events are located at the North Gateway, Washington Ave.
Training and Supervision:
- Gateway Arch Park Foundation will provide a brief overview of each event and a shot list for each event. Staff will be available on site to assist with any questions or needs.

- Free parking if needed during volunteer hours
