Learning changes lives and futures. Share your love of learning by joining Community Education Partnerships’ (CEP) caring team of volunteer tutors. CEP provides tutoring and mentoring to pre-K to 12th grade students experiencing homelessness. CEP Tutors are a consistent and caring presence in the life of our students, fostering a deep love of learning and ensuring that they are set up for academic success.

We are specifically looking for tutors--especially those that speak Spanish--that are available to help our students in Oakland, both for one-on-one tutoring, as well as for a homework club.

One-on-one and small group tutors are needed in Oakland!

  • Tutors are paired with students based on their interests, skills, and availability
  • In-person, virtual, and hybrid opportunities
  • Flexible schedules and locations
