Be a part of changing lives by opening up a new world for the refugees in our communities! Our approach to English as a Second Land (ESL) will be via computer-style learning with a volunteer teacher to help answer questions and concerns while the student is learning on the computer. Hands-on learning is also available through visuals and activities conducted by the teacher. All participants will be required to wer masks during instruction sessions.

2 Shifts

  • morning / 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM
    Actual time is 10:00 am - 12 noon begins Dec 1, 2022
  • evening / 05:30 PM to 07:30 PM
    Classes begin Dec 1, 2022

Description

HHCharities assists various Ugandan communities with orphaned children sponsors, student tuition support and assistance with minor ladies' projects. Our goal is to penetrate the over 2500 orphans in this community with hope to a better life through education.

Our local program is the Cultural Behavior Life Skills Program specialized for the immigrants to enhance their integration into the United States. We concentrate on inclusion to successfully integrate their culture into the US culture by educating them with mannerisms, proper work ethics, and communication/conversational skills.
