Our veteran at the VA Norman would absolutely LOVE to spend time in conversation with those who understand what being a veteran is all about. Description

We offer Home Health and Hospice services all over the nation. I am the Volunteer Coordinator for the Norman, Moore and South OKC metro area. I am looking for compassionate people willing to give of their time. Our hospice patients love when a volunteer can come visit with them. Our caregivers/family members sometimes need to do errands or have time by themselves. Our volunteers are ready and willing to be with our patients during this time. We have other kinds of opportunities as well, such as a Pet Therapy program!   • Our volunteers are able to choose the amount of time they want to give to volunteering with us. It could be 2 hours a month or 2 hours a week! We work with your schedule and time availability.
  • We are thorough, requiring all volunteers to a fingerprint and background check, an annual TB test, signing a HIPAA agreement and orientation. Our patient's safety is top priority!
