Join The Gratitude Team and help us say thank you to all of the supporters that make our mission possible!
When you become a bi-weekly thank you note volunteer, you will handwrite and mail out personalized thank you notes to be completed in two-week intervals.
Requirements:

- Local resident of the Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, DC areas
- Neat/Legible handwriting
- Minimum 6-month commitment

Mission Statement
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington, DC, a non-profit, 501 (C) (3), eases the hardship of children’s illness on families through programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children.
Description
We help families struggling with problems like how to stay near and support a hospitalized child, how to afford staying together in another city while a child is undergoing treatment, or even how to get basic medical care in a vulnerable community. We provide solutions for these and other issues related to easing the hardship of children’s illness on families through three core programs that focus on the critical needs of children, celebrating the diversity of the donors who make them possible, staying true to our heritage of responsible stewardship, and operating with accountability and transparency.
Our programs offer help and hope where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHCDC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives in many ways. By volunteering, you can help make that happen.
