Be the one whose smile greets the community members who come to the United Way of Marion County, Florida. Be the one who has that " smile" in their voice. Volunteers will greet community members and direct them to the appropriate staff member or meeting location within the building. Another facet of this position is to answer the one phone line, transfer calls to staff and provide phone numbers for community resources.
All volunteers will be provided on the job training & resources to be successful in the position functions. You will be at a location that you could be seated or stand. There is a counter that divides you from the public.
There are two shifts, 9 a.m. - Noon & 1 - 5 p.m.
