The President will determine and formulate policies and provide the overall direction of GWE within the guidelines set up by the board of directors by planning, coordinating, and operational activities at the highest level of management with the assistance of subordinate executives and staff managers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Being a trusted advisor to the CEO as s/he develops and implements GWE strategic plan
- Analyze operations to evaluate performance of a company or its staff in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.
- Developing and managing relationships and communicating with: funders, partners, and other stakeholders
- As a board member, approving GWE annual budget, audit reports, and material business decisions; being informed of, and meeting all, legal and fiduciary responsibilities
- Reviewing outcomes and metrics created by GWE for evaluating its impact, and regularly measuring its performance and effectiveness using those metrics
- Coordinating an annual performance evaluation of the Executive Team
