Volunteer Opportunity:
We are seeking a volunteer to assist with managing the Instagram and Facebook accounts of Mommy's Heart. Tasks may include posting relevant news stories/articles, posting photos from Mommy's Heart events, engagement with followers, engagement with other feeds, and research. Volunteer may work remotely or at the office during designated times. Work schedule and time commitment are determined by volunteer.

(EIN #87-4833078) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, which provides free legal representation and mental health services to parents and children, who escaped domestic abuse but are now facing legal and financial retaliation by their abusers in the family court system. Mommy’s Heart aims to protect and defend the fundamental rights of fit parents to direct the care and custody of their children, so that no parent ever has to fear losing a child for reporting violence.
The crux of our organization's mission is protecting the constitutional rights of fit parents, who have been stripped of their parental rights for no good reason. Family courts across our nation are violating fundamental basic human rights. Innocent children and parents are dying as a result. With your assistance, we can reform the family court system to protect the rights and safety of these deserving families in need.A domestic abuse survivor should not have to suffer retaliatory lawfare by her former partner's weaponization of the court system using the child as a pawn to exact revenge for reporting violence in an effort to escape an acutely dangerous situation safely. This is precisely what is happening on a large scale, and we MUST stop it.
Angelina Jolie and other celebrities have been speaking publicly about this very important issue and assault on families and children, and NBC has been covering this topic in recent months due to the enormous number of child deaths related to rogue and corrupt family court judges and lawyers.
Mommy's Heart, Inc. is the only charity of its kind offering these aforementioned services free to parents and children suffering from the abuses and weaponization of the family court system. There is a GREAT need, and this need is growing.
Our foundation regularly hosts fundraising events, as featured on our website and social media. Each of these events has been well-attended by celebrities, global business leaders and philanthropists, influencers, and press. Each event has been covered by Getty Images and Patrick McMullan amongst other outlets.

Mommy’s Heart, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, which provides free legal representation and mental health services to fit mothers and children, who have been subjected to intimate partner violence and have been victimized by the abuses and civil rights violations of the family court system.
Description
The family court system lacks essential domestic violence training and disproportionately favors men over women, allowing alleged abusers to weaponize the court system and use the child as a pawn to perpetuate the torture of their ex partner, who is often punished for speaking out about the abuse. In a 2019 study conducted by George Washington University Law school professor Joan S. Meier, mothers, who reported child abuse, lost custody of their children to their abusers 30 to 50 percent of the time. Custody litigation can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and has depleted many families of the necessary resources to fight and protect the best interests of their children. High conflict custody cases further exacerbated by family court abuses and civil rights violations make finding competent legal counsel with expertise in this area that much more expensive and challenging. The stress of navigating a very dysfunctional family court system corrupted by special interests stacked against the protective mother and the safety and well-being of her child is traumatizing in and of itself, especially when that mother has just escaped an abusive partner and is now faced with the fear and possibility of losing her child to her abusive ex. Counseling and other therapeutic and supportive services by licensed mental health professionals are essential to helping these women validate their experiences, cope, heal, and maintain their emotional and psychological strength while combating a parent's worst nightmare.
