CoachArt Goes Virtual!

We’re using online tools to continue to offer free arts and athletics programming to families impacted by chronic illness and to give our community new opportunities to make a difference.

Your talent -- whether it’s Ceramics, Sculpture, Painting, Drawing, Arts and Crafts, Knitting, Sewing, Fashion, Animation, Baseball, Softball, Martial Arts, Soccer, Tennis, Yoga, Golf, Fitness, Drums, Piano, Voice, Acting, Theater, Ballet, Hip Hop, Dance, Jazz, Tap Dance, Film Making, Baking, Cooking, Photography, or Science -- can make you a hero to a child living with chronic illness.

CoachArt matches talented, passionate individuals like you with children who are eager to learn a new arts or athletics skill.

Just by sharing your hobby 1 hour a week for 4 weeks, you have the power to help a child with chronic illness see themselves as more than a patient, but as an artist, a musician, an athlete! To them, that makes you a hero.

Description

CoachArt is a non-profit organization offering free lessons in the arts and athletics to children impacted by chronic illness, ages 5-18. Our vision is that one day every family impacted by chronic illness will be connected to a community of support and an opportunity to learn and grow together.

We partner with talented volunteers and arts/athletics programs to offer lessons in music, art, yoga, photography, dance, soccer - and more! Our CoachArt team matches each individual child with our volunteers and program partners, who provide 8 week lessons in a shared activity of choice.
