FAWN food pantries are always looking for volunteers to support our pantry operations at our two pantry locations.

Volunteers are needed to assist with both pantry days and delivery days. Mission Statement

Turning Points for Children’s Mission is to:
support families in raising safe, healthy, educated, and strong children by partnering
with caregivers to develop and strengthen protective qualities and by offering them the
tools, skills, and resources they need to ensure their children’s optimal development.

Description

Turning Points for Children is the new identity of the recently merged non-profit organizations, Children’s Aid Society of Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Society for Services to Children. Both organizations combined have provided nearly 300 years of services and support to children and families. These two organizations have merged to provide the critical resources, life skills and supportive partnerships needed to create stronger families and raise children with the hope for brighter futures.

Turning Points for Children is a private Philadelphia social and human services agency that offers (at no fee) supports and assistance to vulnerable families and children. Our core work is about keeping families together, and their children safe and healthy; and, also keeping children, as nurtured children, out of the foster care system.
