The Kitchen Manager supports our Executive Director in ordering food and supplies, managing the kitchen, and supporting our members. Experience running a kitchen and providing hot meals for 10+ people is needed.
The Food Safe / Food Handler's Certification would eventually be necessary. A Kitchen Manager Certification is preferred or may be obtained and reimbursed after a few months. With program growth and additional funding, the goal is for the Kitchen Manager to become a paid/benefited staff position.
Kitchen hours are Mondays and Fridays, 11am-1pm, and volunteer hours would be 5-7 hours per week and could grow with program growth.

Description
We are looking for new Board Members interested in bringing their talents and experience and fundraising enthusiasm to our growing and vibrant program. We have monthly Board Meetings, one or two committee meetings per month, and a monthly "Recovery Circle". Our Board also agrees to do some direct volunteering with our Cafe.
