The first step to become a Hospice Volunteer is to attend a Hospice Volunteer Orientation/Training.
Hospice Volunteers are needed in your area. Volunteers usually visit patients between 0 to 3 times per month for just a few hours at a time. VNA provides hospice services to our patients, whether they live at home, assisted living, or skilled nursing facility. VNA Hospice Care provides compassionate care for people in the last phases of incurable disease so that they may live as full and comfortably as possible.
