Duties:
- Maintain a professional disposition by being courteous, patient friendly in all interactions with patients and family members.
- Ability to communicate in easy-to-understand terms.
- Serve as a greeter and facilitator for family members visiting patients in the Critical Care/Cardiovascular Care Unit and CV Telemetry areas.
* Previous heart care is a plus as it allows for a more personal approach to the program
Qualification:
- Excellent guest relations skills-must follow AIDET & PRIDE behaviors.
- Knowledge and behavior necessary to assure competency in communicating with specific populations.
- Good communication skills.
- Confidentiality maintained at all times.
- Familiarity with the other areas of the hospital.
- Ability to physically walk between the Critical Care/Cardiovascular Care Unit waiting area and the departments served.
2 Shifts
- morning / 08:00 AM to 11:45 AM EST
- afternoon / 12:00 PM to 04:00 PM EST
