HUTCHINSON MOMS group supports mothers through education, emotional support and sharing community resources. Volunteers are needed to keep children safe and occupied during meetings. Volunteers must be able to go up and down steps, and lift up to approximately 20 pounds. Children are age 0-5. Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, and volunteers are needed from 8:45am-11:00am during the school year.

The mission of The Volunteer Center is to match individuals willing to serve with non-profit and governmental organizations in need of help for the benefit the community. Our goal is to be the first place people think of when they want to be of service and the first place non-profit and governmental groups think of when they need dependable volunteer help. As a result we extend the human capacity of area non-profit and governmental agencies by recruiting volunteers to fill a wide variety of volunteer positions in the community.
Description
The Volunteer Center recruits, refers and supports volunteers for the betterment of the community. The Center is home of the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), the Volunteer Action Corps (VAC), Friends in Action and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program in Reno County, Kansas.
