  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

The subject matter experts serve as an on-call resource for the social media team when the needs arise. This person is someone who knows what is 'acceptable’ and what is not acceptable in the industry and pop culture. They are aware of what 'works’ and what could get one 'canceled’.

These experts provide key information from key divisions of the company, such as customer relations, product or service groups, corporate communications, and the legal team.

By bringing their knowledge to the table, the social team ensures message development is accurate, factual, and sound before issuing a public response. Essentially, these are socially aware individuals who give us different perspectives and advice on how to avoid triggering and/ or misinforming our target audience.

You Will Benefit by:

  • Attaining hands-on, high-level skills and experience that will help you increase your earning potential, reach your career goals, and find more rewarding jobs.
  • Receiving mentoring on your LinkedIn Profile (and thus, your resume), interviewing skills, professional goals, and how to manage your career.
  • Building your professional portfolio.
  • Participating in collaboration sessions with our hilarious creative Teammates and team leadership.
  • Being exposed to the behind-the-scenes of a one-of-a-kind start-up company.
  • Gaining access to various training materials on sales, marketing, program management, and other topics worth thousands of dollars.
  • Receive a top-notch letter of recommendation and referrals from our Employment Verification team upon completing your 120-hour internship. In addition, we will gladly help you arrange for academic credit if needed.

Description

  • Finesse Our Minds is a non-profit organization founded in May 2019 by a millennial, L.Finesse Humxn, who realized the importance of spreading awareness and preventing the negative effects of dark thoughts after surviving multiple suicide attempts.
  • It's natural for people to experience dark or negative thoughts from time to time - and we encourage owning our feelings! However, if these thoughts become persistent and intrusive, they can impact our mental health and well-being.
  • L.Finesse’s personal experience with dark thoughts has inspired the organization's mission to promote awareness and education on the reality of dark thoughts and their negative effects (such as mental health struggles and suicidal/self-harm tendencies) in young people worldwide and empower them to transform their lives through constant peer support and life-saving resources.
We encourage all volunteers to be proactive in spreading awareness. Share our mental health survey with five people you know and join our Discord server to provide free 24/7 peer support.

Join us at Finesse Our Minds and help us create a world where mental health support is accessible and stigma-free. Together, we can make a lasting impact.

Note: Please be aware that some of our roles may involve sensitive topics. We provide support to all individuals without discrimination and expect the same from our volunteers.
