Gentiva Hospice Care is always looking for volunteers to help our patients and their families during their critical times. Volunteers can sit with patients, either talking - reading- or simply being a calming presence. Volunteers sometimes help with light household chores or run errands for the family to elevate care-giver duties. Do you have a special talent or skill? Our patients and loved ones would love to experience what you have to offer!
Helping brighten someone's day just by being there is one of the best parts of being a hospice volunteer!

- Driver's License Needed
- Background Check
- Must be at least 18
- Orientation or Training
- There is no minimum or maximum amount of time required to volunteer. We looks for volunteers who would like to spend time with our patients weekly, bi-weekly, weekends, and monthly!
- Volunteers will be asked to participate in a background check, drug screening, and a TB test. All volunteers must be vaccinated for Covid-19.
