In the last two decades, the number of dumb and deaf children in Maraikani villages has grown steadily. These children are sometimes stigmatized and isolated within their own families, leaving them vulnerable to a large range of isolation, rape, uneducated, nakedness, wandering, and begging.
Civicom's 2023 plan is to buy 1 acre of land and build Leen Special School
The project will be completed in phases
Phase 1. buying 1 acre of land at $ 45000
Phase 2. building classrooms, toilets, and water point at $ 40000
Phase 3. buying stationery at $ 3000
Phase 4. admitting children and employing teachers $ 20000
Phase 5. building library and computer lab at $ 10000
Phase 6. building security fence at $ 5000
Phase 7. building dormitories, kitchen, shower rooms, and dining at $ 35000

Our work is training women in rural Africa agrifood skills, harvesting and storage methods. This is done in arid and semiarid areas. We drill boreholes, install water tanks and pipes for irrigation.
Volunteers can help us by training women, fundraising, and installing water tanks and pipes
