We offer online classes as well as in person ones in the Pasadena area. Our classes are offered Monday-Saturday in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. Our classes are small and we will work with you to match your availability to our class schedule. Our next online training will be during summer 2023 for classes beginning in the fall. Helping our community one word at a time. Since 1969, the San Gabriel Valley Literacy Council has provided small group English language and citizenship classes for adult learners in Pasadena and the surrounding communities. We serve a diverse group of people from around the world, helping them to become more effective and involved parents, workers, and active members of society.
The San Gabriel Valley Literacy Council is
an all-volunteer organization. Our English and citizenship classes are led by a dedicated team of teachers and assistants. We work with adult students who come from all over the world.
