Mail moves the country, and you know the rest of the slogan... Now this one-time public servant who has done her share for the country is herself in need of a little companionship to keep moving. She loves the outdoors and loves to go walking but struggles due to legal blindness - she likes to walk at Pope Park or the mini park near Burns school. She would like help with her mail, and possibly occasional appointments or time out for girl chats and coffee or tea. This is great opportunity to come alongside someone in their journey while giving back for all your own best life blessings.

Requirements to be a great volunteer include:

  • a pleasant demeanor;
  • a good reading/speaking voice;

  • a clear criminal history;
