Linden Leaf Gifts is looking for someone with customer service experience who can assist customers in finding items, use the credit card machine, and be comfortable with making cash change. The environment is generally quiet and peaceful.
Someone who is comfortable working independently is needed as it is a small shop. Once volunteer is trained, they will be working on their own.

Local ministries/projects include:
Providence Health Care provides health services to the elderly. Visit with an elder sister, attend mass with her, or volunteer to help move sisters when they need advanced care.
Providence Food Pantry provides food to the economically poor. The food pantry is financed by donations and staffed by volunteers.
White Violet Center for Eco-Justice focuses on the areas of organic agriculture, eco-justice education, and social advocacy. Volunteer with our alpacas or help skirt their fiber into yarn!
Providence Center is the welcoming center for the the Sisters of Providence and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. It is home to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Providence, the Heritage Room, and Gift Shop. Pilgrimages, tours, facilities rental, workshops, programs and retreats are all offered through the center. We could use volunteer tour guides!
Internet Technology Assist the sisters with basic word processing and cell phone questions.
