The program began as an idea from our Immigrant Youth Advisory Team, who saw this as a critical need among their peers. The program aims to improve academic outcomes and provide youth with positive adult relationships.

  • Provide guidance, motivation, and emotional support
  • Provide English and academic support where necessary
  • Explore careers, set-goals, and identify resources

  • ➔TIME COMMITMENT: About 2 hours a week, including prep time and virtual meetings with Program Coordinator

    ➔WHERE: In-person, on-campus

    ➔CONTENT: English conversation practice, homework help, social and emotional learning
