Meet with key VA leaders, community leaders and other like-minded nonprofit leaders. Promote the site and build relationships within the Asheville area by serving a Site Coordinator for Soldiers’ Angels.

  • Work with local donors, including individuals and businesses to facilitate relationships.
  • Develop local partnership opportunities and attend working groups, chamber events, and other key events focused on collaboration and networking in the assigned community.
  • Oversee VA and Community Representatives; the recruitment, training and retention of volunteers and growth of site; as well as, all special events and coordinating the distribution of goods and services.
  • Coordination of the volunteer resources of Soldiers’ Angels and all aspects of their participation in the assigned community and at the VA.
  • Request and manage inventory for veteran patients within the VA and the community.
  • Track national campaigns (donations Girl Scout Cookies etc.), to include picture requirement.
