Metropolitan Family Services Howard Evanston Community Center is looking for volunteers to lead a basic computer class.

Classes will potentially be either Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays from 2pm-3:30pm

Most students will be looking to learn basic computer skills, such as internet navigation, using Google, GSuite, computer navigation, typing, emailing, creating documents, etc.

Volunteer Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma of GED is required.
  • Good listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
  • Confident technology skills.
  • Be able to relate to individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • To be able to honor student confidentiality

Classes will take place at our location:

7648 N. Paulina Street, Chicago, 60626.
