Metropolitan Family Services Howard Evanston Community Center is looking for volunteers to lead a basic computer class.
Classes will potentially be either Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays from 2pm-3:30pm
Most students will be looking to learn basic computer skills, such as internet navigation, using Google, GSuite, computer navigation, typing, emailing, creating documents, etc.
Volunteer Qualifications:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma of GED is required.
- Good listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
- Confident technology skills.
- Be able to relate to individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- To be able to honor student confidentiality
Classes will take place at our location:
7648 N. Paulina Street, Chicago, 60626.

Metropolitan Family Services Howard Evanston Community Center (HECC) is a social service agency that provides free education, employment, and health assistance programs for the greater Rogers Park area. Many of HECC’s services are life-sustaining. Individuals and families set their own goals, and HECC is here to lend a helping hand along their journey to success.
