Natural Dividends needs your help in writing grants to secure funding for 2023.

We are an environmental sustainability nonprofit building a social movement to "Increase Nature's Share," and we need your help! This is a great opportunity to impact a growing organization and grow with the company. You are potentially helping to further our missions and help Increase Nature's Share!

A little bit about why we need your help to raise funding for next year:

The need for our cause is great, and after this year, we are very low on funds. Money raised will help us cover our two annual community events. Our Earth Day event with a budget of around $1500, and our GastroPark event with a budget of about $500. This past Earth Day, we had over 15 local organizations involved, picked up over 150lbs of trash, and collected food for the West Hartford Food Bank. Also, we just had our event at the GastroPark in West Hartford on September 18th, 2022, where we picked up over 200lbs of trash, gave several local organizations a platform to spread their message, collected food for local food banks, and had over 80 people in attendance! All members of the organization volunteer their time and do not receive compensation, allowing us to focus our efforts and funding solely on the community. Funding will directly support our mission of Increasing Nature’s Share. Supporting our litter cleanup events and sustainability events by buying gloves, trash bags, posters, snacks, and other items that the event would not be possible without.

We currently have a list of several grants that we have identified as potential opportunities and need your help to craft our proposals and research more opportunities.

A successful grant is the result of a combination of thorough research, an excellent proposal, and a well-matched funding source. The Grant Writer will research prospective funders and find an organization that would be interested in the project type. The proposal is tailored to each funding organization before submission. The applicant follows all of the funding agency’s writing guidelines when creating the proposal and submitting the proposal application by the deadline.

This is perfect for someone who has excellent research, writing, and communication skills, is self-motivated, reliable, organized, thorough and timely. If you feel inspired by this and want to gain experience working with an NGO on fundraising, please apply.
