(CAN BE DONE VIRTUALLY BUT MUST BE BASED IN UTAH) The Longest Day event is the day with the most light - the summer solstice. On June 21, thousands of participants from across the world will come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's and other Dementias through an activity of their choice. Together, they use their creativity and passion to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.

The Alzheimer's Association Utah Chapter needs volunteers for The Longest Day event's Recruitment Committee ("The Networkers"). The Recruitment Committee helps to recruit new participants and retain past participants for The Longest Day. This committee is responsible for:

- make texts/calls to recruit and retain participants with other committee members
- making personal contact with potential and past participants to encourage early registration
- help plan and host the Participant Kickoff Party (in the spring)
