National Make a Difference Day is an annual community service event encouraging community members to get outside and give back in the Fall. On Saturday, Oct. 26 from 9 AM to noon, community members of all ages will volunteer at various sites throughout Five Rivers MetroParks to help us clean up our parks, support habitat restoration efforts, and prepare for the winter season.
Check out our Make a Difference Day projects on our Get Connected volunteer site available at www.metroparks.org/volunteer and RESPOND to register for a project as an individual or as a team! Registration is required through our Get Connected site.

The purpose of Five Rivers MetroParks is to protect natural areas and parks and river corridors and to promote the conservation and use of these lands and waterways for the ongoing benefit of the people in the region. With over 16,000 acres of land to protect and over 160 miles of trail to manage, not to mention all of the amazing facilities, programs, and special events; Five Rivers MetroParks depends on the support of volunteers just like YOU year-round to make the difference.
