Squad Bosses lead groups of 6-10 volunteers working to perform a number of tasks including: removing
exotic plants, building historic fences, maintaining and improving trails, cleaning national cemetery headstones, and picking up trash. Squad Bosses are responsible for managing their team’s actions to ensure safe and efficient completion of assigned tasks.
ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Supervisory Skills
- Communication Skills
- Ability to use and teach the safe use of hand tools such as loppers, hand saws, shovels, rakes, and
- hammers.
