The Atlanta Hospital Hospitality House serves families and patients that travel to Atlanta from greater than 40 miles to receive specialized medical care often for a life threatening diagnosis. The House provides low cost and safe accommodations, home cooked nightly meals, continental breakfast and lunch and a caring community of support for our guests and families. The House is located within a quiet Druid Hills neighborhood, centrally located to all of Atlanta's medical centers and adjacent to Emory University. Guests often travel hours for the specialized medical care available at Atlanta healthcare centers. While staying at the House, guests have access to hiking trails, quiet and serene outdoor areas, laundry facilities, dining and community spaces, free Wi-Fi, and laptops are available for check out.

Our Facility Volunteers assist the AHHH staff with day to day tasks that keep the facility running smoothly. Volunteers support the staff in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the community spaces as well as complete basic preventative home maintanance tasks.

The emphasis of Guest Services staff is to create a safe, healthy, welcoming home like environment for guest families so that patients and families can focus on treatment and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning rooms and bathrooms following hospital clean standards
• Completing and folding laundry following hospital clean standards
• Clean common areas of the facility
• Restock and inventory supplies
• Vacuum/Sweep
• Dusting
• Disinfecting surfaces
• Replacing light bulbs
• Replacing air filters
• Painting
• Hanging pictures
• Troubleshoot electronics
• Make basic plumbing repairs
• Miscellaneous projects
• Yard work, gardening, and watering
• Other duties as assigned by Guests Services Coordinator or Operations Manager.
