Then the Institute For Health Equity and Social Justice’s Social Media Marketing Manager position may be a good fit for you.

Our Mission

To do good seek justice and defend the vulnerable in order to reduce the health disparities and social inequalities within the region.

Social Media Marking Manager roles and responsibilities include:

  • Assist with developing social media strategy for Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Implement social media marketing plan
  • Create diverse content for social media platforms
  • Adhere to posting schedule
  • Monitor and track engagement metrics


The following qualifications and skills can be demonstrated by experience, formal training or a mix of both

  • Basic graphic design capabilities
  • Excellent written communication
  • Marketing research


  • Enhance your skills while supporting a cause you care about
  • Gain samples of work & references to add to your portfolio
  • Work remotely & create your own schedule

Time expectation:

Social Media Manager will spend between 6-10 hours a week working on this project.
