St. Mark Community Education Program is a non-profit organization located in Dorchester, MA. Our mission is to build a vibrant community where immigrants can thrive and enrich their communities. We strive to achieve this through education. St. Mark offers ESOL, conversation groups, and writing classes to immigrants in the Boston area and beyond to help them learn English as a second language. We also provide Citizenship classes to support immigrants in their journey to become US citizens.
Writing Coach for the Writing Program - The writing program is a 12-week program that pairs students and writing coaches to work on the specific writing needs of the student as well as based on both the coach and student's availability.
- Commitment - 2- 3 hours weekly commitment for 3 months

Description
The St. Mark Community Education Program is both an ESOL program and a Citizenship program for adult immigrants and refugees. The ESOL program offers 4 classes at 4 levels, taught evenings to accommodate the schedules of working adults. The Citizenship program prepares applicants for all parts of the citizenship interview and provides supportive resources for those who would like to apply.
