ORGANIZATION: Loggerhead Marinelife Center

Guest services volunteers are the first impression of Loggerhead Marinelife Center to our visitors. Greeters welcome guests, provide information and answer questions to enhance the LMC visitor experience. If you are an outgoing individual with a passion for ocean conservation, you are a perfect fit for guest services at LMC!

Requirements: Volunteers must be at least sixteen years of age and must work a minimum of one 4 hour shift per week. There is a minimum six month commitment.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a non-profit education and conservation facility dedicated to the conservation and preservation of our marine environment through education, research and rehabilitation.

Description

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is the primary rehabilitation center for Sea Turtles on the East coast of Florida, and operates an oceanfront nature center-museum and sea turtle hospital. The organization is located in a county park, though it relies on private sources of funding.
