A Fair Trade World is a member of the Fair Trade Federation. You will organize this small non-profit (12 years old) as you wish. You will get volunteers to help with packaging and shipping. You will maintain the website (afairtradeworld.org) and pay $30 a month for its fee from your sales.
In the past we have sold jewelry from Uganda and handbags from Thailand in retail shops wishing Fair Trade pieces, as a pop-up shop in shows and fairs, in home parties, to school groups of all ages, on college campuses, etc. You can decide your focus and marketing direction.
You have someone ( via email: a lady in Australia) to work with to order Paper Bead products from Uganda.
It will be your non-profit to run. You can build on a 5-8% margin to pay yourself, if this is needed.
