As a Friendly Visitor, you would be asked to visit with hospice patients who reside in a nursing facility. These visits are shorter in duration and allow the volunteer to visit when it is convenient for the volunteer. Per state and federal regulations, you will be required to submit to a background check; a drug screen and a TB test - all of which we pay for. We will also provide a thorough training so that you will feel comfortable and confident in your role as a volunteer with us.
