Circle of Care Volunteers call patients or their caregivers each week to check on their needs prior to the weekend. Volunteers follow a phone script, assisting them to identify patients needs such as medication refills, supplies and or equipment that need to be addressed prior to the weekend.
Circle of Care Volunteers contribute to a proactive approach in caring for terminally ill patients and their families. After training and education, the calls may be done from home or from the AccentCare office.
