TogetherWell, a mental health non-profit, is looking to bring on a Creative Writer/Content editor to join our team. You will be involved with the production of podcast episodes from beginning to end, dazzling audiences with your penchant for storytelling.

Responsibilities include:

• Researching episode ideas and pitching those ideas to the team
• Finding and booking experts for interviews
• Coordinating schedules for interviews and prepping show hosts for each episode
• Writing episode script outlines to support storytelling process
• Working closely with show hosts to develop and refine scripts
• Editing transcripts
• Writing/editing episode descriptions and proposing engaging titles for podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts)
• Managing production and delivery timelines

Experience needed:

• 2 - 3 years experience in creative writing, producing podcasts or radio, specifically that involve long-form storytelling
• Demonstrated experience writing narrative nonfiction/fiction for audio
• Booking expert interviews (mental health professionals, authors, scholars, luminaries)
• Excellent organizational and time/project management skills, and the ability to work on deadline
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Applicants will be required to submit a writing sample in the interview process. Preferably the writing sample would be of a media release, blog post, or feature story
