ORGANIZATION: Bay State Trail Riders Association

  • 2 people are interested

We want Bay State Trail Riders Association (equestrian organization but trail work benefits all trail users) to grow to the next level and continue the work that we have been doing. To do this there are steps that need to be done.

The first step is to create committees to do some of the work. A committee member does not have to be a Board member. We are especially looking for Fundraising (following up on already established donors and getting new donors on board), National Trails Day Committee for our annual fundraiser event at the beginning of June.

We have created an application form for the Board which can also be used if you wish to be a committee member.

The list of skill sets (hopefully we covered them all!) is a follows: Board development (governance), Strategic planning, Member Recruitment, Program development, Trail Planning/Development, Financial management, Fundraising, Grant Writing, Community networking, Event Planning, Marketing, Volunteer management, Non-Profit Experience, and Web/word press Experience.

If you are interest in becoming a committee member, please fill out the application. The application is on the website under the tab About Us. Select Contact in the sub menu and you will find the application.
https://bstra.org/about-us/contact/
Please download it and fill it in. I would also be happy to email the application form to whomever requests it .

We want people that have a passion to help protect & maintain our trails as the end result of what we do and help us keep on doing it better.
