Essentials Delivery Drivers work closely with Neighbors’ staff to get basic needs items to people who lack transportation. Deliveries are curbside and conform to social distancing and disease prevention standards. Essentials consist mainly of food orders from Neighbors’ food shelf. Deliveries are within our service area, which includes communities of northern Dakota County.

* Treat everyone and every situation in a friendly manner.

* Adherence of Neighbors policies and procedures (including those specific to volunteer drivers)

* Valid Driver’s License and insurance on vehicle

* Complete Transportation Program Orientation

* Submit monthly mileage report

* Able to load and unload groceries from vehicle

* Must be 18+

1 Shift

  • afternoon / 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM
    Neighbors Inc. delivers groceries to clients with transportation challenges.

Volunteers serve their neighbors in need through programs such as a food shelf, Clothes Closet thrift store, holiday assistance, and much more. At Neighbors, all donations and volunteer service directly supports the local community.
