ORGANIZATION: Lehigh Valley Health Network

    • Run errands for the department as requested
    • Provide any comfort measures during patient rounding (i.e. bring them water, blankets)
    • Deliver any specimens to the lab
    • Hep make any new patient charts
    • Take in meal trays/remove meal trays
    • Call to have fridge stock/stock fridge
    • Restock PPE supplies outside of rooms
    • Clean off patient's bedside table
    • Call lab for label printing
    • Call pharmacy for missing medication
    • Prepare bloodwork supplies
    • Find needed equipment
    • Prepare rooms for admission
    • Walk beside patients who are not fall risks/Are independently ambulatory
    • Offer patient toiletries/Prepare toiletries for patients
    • Complete paperwork, organizing materials/office supplies

Volunteers must have had all necessary doses of a COVID-19 vaccine AND have completed the waiting period to ensure the maximum immunity. Volunteers must always wear a mask (e.g., cloth) over the nose and mouth.
