Paws and Claws is looking for someone to help us search and apply for grants. This person will be responsible for taking charge of our grants and everything associated with it.

This would be an ongoing volunteer role that has no set hours perfect for anyone. There is no huge time commitment and we are open to your expertise, thoughts and ideas!

We are preferably looking for someone with previous experience in grant writing and research. This is a virtual role with a close-knit, kind team of animal lovers.

Hybrid volunteer position. Office space available at our Adoption Center in Evanston for in-person volunteering.

Please email ashlynn@pawsandclawschicagorescue.org or call 773-402-9838 if you are interested.

About Paws and Claws Cat Rescue

Location:

829 Chicago Ave., Evanston, IL 60202, US

Mission Statement

Paws and Claws Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preventing and alleviating the suffering caused by abuse, neglect, and overpopulation. We help dogs and cats mentally and physically heal, and give them a chance to find love, a full life, and a forever home.

Description

Paws and Claws is a cat rescue that focuses on rescuing orphaned neonatal kittens, nursing kittens with their mothers, under-socialized cats, and dogs who have been at animal care and control facilities for too long. We see ourselves as the crossing guards for these vulnerable animals, helping them get from their past, whether that be from a traumatic home, a kennel, or a euthanasia list, to a safe and kind human who will love them.
