NAMI Pomona Valley is need of community volunteers!
This type of volunteer helps us through time committed to community based programs and events. NAMI Pomona Valley strives to remain active within our surrounding communities where we can provide resources and support. That's where you come in! As we navigate through the many events NAMI attends, we need all the help we can get.
Our community events consist of tabling events, set up, tear down, flyer distribution, support group assistance and more. If you live around Claremont or the surrounding communities we would love to meet with you about helping us out!

Dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with mental illness and their families through support, education and advocacy.
Description
NAMI Pomona Valley works collaboratively with Tri-City Mental Health Center and other community organizations. Our purpose is to participate in a community-wide "continuity of care" and to make known our availability to families and individuals within the Pomona Valley and beyond. We provide speakers, disseminate literature, and join in system-wide planning for furthering mental health insight and action and for the breaking of stigma. Outreach programs, as demonstrated by the following, are essential to our educational mission.
