JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manager-Web Developer

• The Manager of the Web Development Team is responsible for guiding The Africa In Me Technology Team to success by innovations, setting Technology standards and processes.
• This role is expected to have a high level of technical proficiency in front-end and back-end web development. in a variety of frameworks.
• The Manager of Web Development will be responsible for researching and assessing new technologies, as well as improving development processes.
• Conduct Meetings with the team and be responsible for project tracking, analysis, and status inquiries.
• Stay current on the web development best practices, technologies, tools, and languages, and actively explore implementation for projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Background in managing web developers and teams.
• Lead in building new systems with C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server
• Should be a creative thinker to think of ways to leverage photos. Enhances team photos using Photoshop.
• Experience with C#, HTML, CSS, Net Core, Ability to create parameterized SQL statements for MS SQL Server.
• Extensive knowledge of design principles and aesthetics
• You must be self-motivated and extremely detail-oriented, has strong time management and problem-solving skills, and is a quick study and hungry to learn and contribute.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to take constructive feedback and integrate it in design pieces.
• Excellent project and time management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Javascript
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Git
• PMP Certification Desired
